Welcome to Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones Preschool Co-op (SSPC) is a state-licensed nursery school.  It  was established in 1983 and has grown to service approximately 75 area families annually who are eager to make meaningful contributions to their children's first school experience.

As a co-op, SSPC combines the talents of dedicated parents and staff to provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate educational experiences for children.  Whether a child is 20 months old and participating with his/her parent in our First Step Class or is 5 years old and gathering knowledge and skills needed for Kindergarten, students at our preschool thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.

At Stepping Stones, our primary goal is for children to experience enjoyable activities that will help them to feel good about themselves while they are learning.  By giving our students a positive self-image, we allow them to see the world as a constant source of new knowledge so they can explore it with confidence.
