Special Interest Classes
For Minnow, Starfish, or ½ day Kindergarten aged children
(Provides 3, 4, or 5-day options for Starfish and Minnows)

     Take chances! Get messy! Have fun! This class is not for the faint of heart! Sensory exploration through all types of media will set the tone for learning in this interest-based class for preschoolers through Kindergarten aged children. This class is offered on Tuesdays, either in the morning or in the afternoon. Process is the focus and children will be “up to their ears” in hands-on experiences, giving new meaning to the word “messy” as they exercise higher order thinking skills such as hypothesizing, predicting, problem solving, estimating, and more. Themes throughout the session will cross curricular areas with a strong focus on art, literature, and science. Grab your smock and get ready for some Ooey Gooey Fun!
